Tim Brackett Captures the SLM Win |
Tim Brackett of Buckfield
captured his 1st win of the season in the RB Performance
Super Late Models this past weekend at Oxford. Its been
a long time coming for the veteran whose last win came
two seasons ago.
Danny Wear of Buxton took home
the win in the Kennebec Rental Equipment Rental MODS.
Wear took the early lead and led all 30 laps of the
feature. Shawn Knight made his way up through the field
to take 2nd place on lap 15 while Troy Morse picked up
3rd place.
Evan Roy of Turner won his 4th ATA
Piping Rookies feature of the season. Cayleigh Rose took
the early lead with Jaxson Morside in 2nd. Roy raced up
the outside, taking 2nd place on lap 4 and the lead on
lap 5. Roy led the rest of the feature. Jeremy Turner
came from the back to finish in 2nd, while Liz Newton
picked up 3rd place - a career best for the 2nd year
rookie driver.
Dale Lawrence of Minot captured
his first win of the season in the Aroma Joe's Figure 8s
feature. Larry Lizotte and Greg Durgin finished 2nd and
3rd respectively.
Jordan Russell picked up in 3rd
win of the season in the Richard Spaulding Roofing
Street stocks. Richard Spaulding took the early lead
leading until lap 16 when Russell finally caught up to
him. James Douchette was running in 3rd for the first 11
laps of the feature before being black flagged for
leaking fluid. Tyson Jordan took over 3rd and after a
caution on lap 20 went 3 wide on the restart to take 2nd
with Cam Childs following him to finish behind him in
3rd place.
Nick Wilson of Oxford won his 2nd
feature of the season in the Cooley's Commercial Mad
Bombers. Cam Richards took home 2nd place with Spencer
Barth finishing in 3rd.
Chris Smith of Buxton
scoreed his 3rd win of the season in the DLM Landscaping
and Excavation Limiteds. Kristina Nadeau took the early
lead with Dylan Thyng racing in 2nd and Tiger Colby in
3rd. Colby Meserve took over 3rd on lap 7. Smith passed
Meserve for 3rd on lap 9 then moved on to take 2nd on
lap 14. Smith chased down Nadeau and finally was able to
pass her for the lead on lap 23. Kristina Nadeau settled
for a solid 2nd place finish while Richard Thompson
picked up 3rd place.
Calvin Rose Jr. took the
early lead in the RB Performance Super Late Model
feature. Rose pulled away with Tim Brackett chasing him
down in 2nd . Curtis Gerry made his way through the
field to pass Rusty Poland for 3rd on lap 27. Caution
came out with only 7 laps to go. On the restart Rose and
Brackett raced side by side with Curtis Gerry not far
behind trying to enter the mix. Brackett was able to
pull away during the closing laps to take the win.
Calvin Rose Jr. finished in 2nd place with Curtis Gerry
rounding out the top 3. |
