Moore Captures SLM Win at OPS |
Scott Moore picked up his first win of the
season in the 50 lap Oxford County Super Late Model
feature at Oxford.
Rylee Childs took home the win
in the Aroma Joe's Rookies. Tucker Verrill and Cayleigh
Rose finished 2nd and 3rd place respectively.
Nathan Barth won his first Dow Excavation Limiteds
feature in a wild finish. Michael Harrison took the
early lead and ran away with it until a caution came out
with only 2 laps to go. On the restart Harrison spun his
tires,Barth saw the opportunity and quickly took the
lead. Behind them Zach Bowie,Kyle Treadwell,Josh Hodgdon
and Ricky Thompson were all fighting for the best spots
they could finish going 3-4 wide. Nate Barth led the
last two laps of the feature and ultimately Zach Bowie
came out finishing 2nd with Josh Hodgdon taking home 3rd
place.
Corey Morgan went 2 for 2 picking up his
2nd M.S Ambrogio Mad Bomber win of the season. Morgan
took the lead on lap 7 and ended up leading the rest of
the caution filled race. Nick Wilson picked up 2nd with
Tyler Jalbert rounding out the top 3.
Cam Childs
captured the win in the Richard Spaulding Roofing Street
Stocks. Childs took the lead at the start and led all 30
laps of the feature. Joey Israelson ended up picking up
2nd with Brandon Johnson finishing in 3rd.
Dylan
Cook won the 20 lap 207 Brand Rebels feature over Adam
Oneil and Doug Degroat who finished 2nd and 3rd
respectively.
Cody Billings won his first career KHM
Thunderstock feature after dominating the 20-lap
feature. Tucker Haskell settled for 2nd place with
Charlie Young finishing in 3rd place.
Matt
Morneau put on a clinic in the Rodney's Repair Cruisers
leading all 20 laps of the feature capturing his first
win of the season. Husband and wife driver's William
Barker and Lindsy Barker finished 2nd and 3rd
respectively.
Scott Moore dominated the 50 lap
Super late model feature after taking the lead at the
start, he ran away with the lead and could not be
caught. Kate Re and Colby Benjamin spent most of the
race battling for 2nd before Kate Re ultimately finished
runner up with Colby Benjamin settling for 2nd place.
The Oxford Championship series at Oxford Plains
Speedway continues on Saturday May 18th at 4pm. |
