Oxford, ME - 3/20/24 - Officials at
Oxford Plains Speedway announced their division sponsors
for the weekly championship series today. Seven of the
eight sponsors are returning led Oxford County Motor
Sales (formally known as Bessey Motors) is once again
the entitlement partner for the tracks lead division,
the Super Late Models. Dow Excavating, Spaulding Roofing
Specialists, Kyle Hewins Motorsports, 207 Brand, and
Rodney's Repair all return to their respective
divisions. Oxford Aroma Joe's will shift to the Rookie
division and M.S.Ambrogio takes over the popular Mad
Bomber class.
Oxford

Dow Excavating Limited Sportsman
- The Limited Sportsman division enters its third season
and has produced some of the tightest racing at the
Speedway. Champion Nate Leavitt did not lead the points
until half way through the final race. Perennial front
runners Chris Smith and Zach Bowie have moved on, but
veterans Jordan Russell, Kenny and Michael Harrison, and
PJ Merrill are poised to make their mark. Kyle Treadwell
and Chad Munro return to the driver's seat while
youngsters Cam Richards and Nate Barth make the move up

Spaulding Roofing Specialists

Naples ME - 4/1/24 - Officials at the
Pro All Stars Series (PASS) announced today that Pierson
Heating and Cooling has sponsored four new special
awards for all three of the of the PASS sanctioned
touring divisions. The Pierson
Heating and Cooling Winners Circle, Rookie of the Year,
Hard Charger, and Fastest Lap of the Race will be
awarded at the year-end banquet to each tour's overall
winner in each of the four categories. PASS officials
also announced the August 4th
PASS Race at Oxford Plains Speedway will be known as the
Pierson Heating and Cooling 150.
"We are
excited to be able to provide some extra recognition at
our year end banquets for all three tours," said PASS
President Tom Mayberry. "Teams seem to really like these
awards at Oxford and we hope the tours will too. We are
thrilled to welcome Pierson Heating and Cooling to these
awards and to a PASS race."

August 4th race at Oxford Plains Speedway will be the
final PASS race before the 51st annual Oxford 250 slated
for later that month. Traditionally, many drivers use it
as a last opportunity to tune up for the big show on the
25th. A New England Super
Modified (NESS) Race presented by Sherm Arnold's
Flooring and the Kennebec Equipment Rental PASS MODS 60
lapper are also on the card that evening.
Drivers competing in points paying races starting at
Thompson will be eligible for the year end plaques. The
Pierson Heating Winners Circle will award the driver
with the most wins on each tour, while the rookie of the
year will celebrate the highest point totaling rookies.
The Hard Charger award will be presented to the drivers
passing the most cars throughout the season while the
Fastest Lap Award will go to the driver setting the most
fast times throughout the season.
"I've been
around racing my whole life," said owner Tony Pierson.
"I couldn't think of a better way to give back then to
do a PASS race and be a part of something new on the
tours."
The PASS SLM tour consists of 16 events
throughout the season including the Oxford 250 and the
1st annual All That's Metal 300 on July 2nd and 3rd. The
upstart NESS supermodifieds will compete 14 times with a
100 lap race in July 3rd, and the Star Classic on
September 13th and 14th. The resurgent Kennebec
Equipment Rental PASS MODS will have a 100 lap race, two
60 lap races, and a triple crown as a part of their 12
race series.
All the action starts on April 6th
at Thompson Speedway in Connecticut as a part of the
50th annual Icebreaker weekend.

As a part of the
announcement, Mayberry went on to say that
July 2nd will
be qualifying day with a pair of 75 lap events locking
in the Top 15 each into the big show. "We really want to
make sure that the preliminary events are a show in
itself," he said. "We will have support classes present,
but we really wanted to make the Tuesday portion of this
program is a big event for the Super Late Models too."
Asked about the choice of a mid-week show vs the
traditional Saturday-Sunday, Mayberry explained the
desire to make this a destination race that people could
plan a vacation around. "July 4th week is a big vacation
week for a lot of families," said Mayberry. "With the
race in the middle of the week it allows people to come
for a couple days or stay the whole week if they chose.
What better way to celebrate America then spending it at
the track watching some great racing?"
OPS will
be in weekly action June 29th with their annual
Independence Day Fireworks celebration, likely to be the
only fireworks show in the state on that date. As
previously cited, Tuesday is qualifying for the All
That's Metal Celebration of America 300. The 300 and
support divisions will run features on July 3rd.
With
the Super Late Models off on
Saturday the 6th, The PASS MODS take
center stage for their 100 lap $2000 to win special,
along with local racing action and an enduro. With four
race dates in eight days, fans will have the opportunity
to see a wide variety of racing in a short amount of
time.

The Pro All
Stars Series
and Racing America
Reach Multi-Year Agreement |
CONCORD, N.C. (January
9, 2024) - The Pro All
Stars Series (PASS) and Racing America have reached a
multi-year agreement to continue their broadcasting
partnership for the sanctioning body. With the
agreement, Racing America remains the broadcasting home
of the Pro All Stars Series for the coming years.
Among those events are a packed slate of Super Late
Model races at Oxford Plains Speedway. This year's
calendar includes the $40,000-to-win 300-lap Celebration
of America on July 2-3, the PASS 400 weekend on October
19 and the biggest event of the year, the Oxford 250 on
August 23-25.
"The streaming partnership between
PASS and Racing America has been and will continue to be
strong for years to come," said PASS President, Tom
Mayberry. "The Oxford 250 continues as the richest
single-day event in motorsports and folks all over the
country will be able to watch on Racing America. Add the
Celebration Of America in July paying $40,000 to win and
PASS fans have a lot to be excited about."

The Oxford 250 is one of the biggest

been the broadcasting home of the Oxford 250 since 2015,
presenting what has always been considered one of the
biggest short track events in the Northeastern United
States to a national and international audience.
For the first time ever, Racing America's coverage of
the Icebreaker Weekend and Sunoco World Series of
Speedway Racing at Thompson Speedway Motorsports Park
will be available to RacingAmerica.TV subscribers in
2014. Due to broadcast rights restrictions, the NASCAR
Whelen Modified Tour events on those weekends will not
be shown on Racing America.
