Larsen Wins First PASS MODS Race
 on Night 1 of 250 Weekend

OXFORD- Justin Larsen topped the field in Friday night PASS Mods main event winning his first in the modified class.

Ryan Farrar of Oxford won his 2nd Sport Trucks feature of the season after leading all 20 laps. Adam Lovejoy of Gray made his way to the front and battled Rick Dobson for 2nd, forcing Dobson of Hartford settled for 3rd place.

Chad Wills of Oxford picked up his 2nd Bandits feature of the season. Jeff Libby took the early lead before Wills passed him on the inside on lap 2. Dustin Salley followed and took over 2nd place. Salley and Wills battled for the lead the rest of the race. Travis Verrill took 3rd from Libby with 2 to go. Wills held off Dustin Salley of Mechanic Falls who crossed the line 2nd but was DQ'd in tech. Travis Verrill officially took home 2nd with Jeff Libby of Auburn getting 3rd.

William Dunphy Jr. of New Gloucester took home his 6th Cruisers win of the season after passing Phil Knowlton on lap 4. Dunphy led the rest of the feature. Knowlton of Minot finished in 2nd while Bill Grover of Waterford picked up a 3rd place finish.

Dana Cook of Minot won his first Rebels race of the season. After many cautions early in the race Cook took the lead from Michael McKinney on lap 19 and led the rest of the feature. After the restart for a caution on lap 19 Cam Childs of Leeds passed Addie McDaniel for 2nd and Cody Childs of West Paris slipped behind Childs to take home 3rd place.

Richard Thompson of Bridgton won his first Outlaw feature of the 2019. Matthew Veinott started pole and took the early lead before Thompson swept by on lap 5. Veinott slid back and Caleb Emerson-Mains moved into 2nd with Brandon Varney in 3rd. Varney moved to the outside of Mains then to the bottom taking over 2nd on lap 11. After a caution on lap 13 Varney moved up to challenge Thompson for the lead but Thompson held on to take the win. Brandon Varney of Mechanic Falls took home 2nd while Caleb Emerson-Mains finished in 3rd.

Matty Dufault of Turner captured his 5th win of the season in the Street Stocks. Cody Webster started pole but was quickly passed by Kyle Hewins within the 1st lap. Skip Tripp moved up to battle Webster before taking over 2nd on lap 4. After a caution Hewins kept the lead. Two cautions came out laps 20 and 21, and on the last restart Hewins, Tripp and Russell went 3 wide for the lead, allowing Matt Dufault to sneak by and grab the lead on lap 23. Dufault led the rest of the feature. Kyle Hewins of Leeds settled for 2nd while Skip Tripp of Oxford finished in 3rd.
Casey Call took the win in the Legends feature. Call took the lead on lap 4 and led the rest of the feature, Austin MacDonald finished in 2nd while Luke Lebrun finished in 3rd.

Justin Larsen of Peru took home his first win in the PASS MODS. Larsen started pole but was passed by Spencer Vaughn on lap 2. Four cars wrecked and brought out a caution the same lap. Vaughn kept the lead with Bill Dixon in 2nd and Geoff Rollins in 3rd before another caution occurred on lap 4 as cars piled up and a car slammed a sandpile. Dixon took the lead on the restart and had to battle Vaughn and Rollins. Larsen went 3 wide and took 2nd and then the lead finally on lap 12. Adam Gray moved into 2nd passing Jairet Harrison on lap 25. Larsen led the rest of the feature with Adam Gray of Belcherville, MA in 2nd and Mark Lucas of Harpswell passed Dixon for 3rd late in the race.
