For the first time in two years, Go-Karts returned to Oxford
Plains Speedway, as an open practice was held for the JAR Racing
Photography Karting Series. The Series will kick off with seven
divisions of karting this coming Thursday night at 6pm. “It was great to see the kids behind the wheel of their karts as every time they took to the track, they improved dramatically, stated General Manager, Dick Therrien. Several of the youngsters were six years old and a little nervous, but before the day was done, they felt much more comfortable. No major incidents occurred, and overall, I was quite happy with the day. I’m looking forward to Thursday night.” Oxford Plains Speedway Go-Karting is a very affordable way to have an evening out as it’s only $5 to come and want the racing from the pit area. Oxford Plains Speedway Go-Karting track is located at 877 Main Street, Oxford, Maine. |
