Oxford Plains Speedway Announces 2nd Annual Fan Appreciation Night for June 19, 2027

October 28, 2026 — Naples, Maine — Officials at Oxford Plains Speedway (OPS) today announced that the second annual Fan Appreciation Night will take place on Saturday, June 19, 2027. The evening will feature exciting racing, a driver meet-and-greet, interactive fan activities, giveaways, and much more.

Following the overwhelming success of the inaugural event in 2026, which featured an impressive 38 community partners, this year’s celebration promises to be even bigger, better, louder, and more engaging for fans of all ages.

Fan Appreciation Night is designed to bring the racing community closer together while offering a full evening of entertainment for fans and families. A highlight of the event will be a one-hour driver meet-and-greet, giving attendees the opportunity to connect with their favorite drivers, collect autographs, and get an up-close look at the personalities behind the helmets.

“When we did this event in 2026, we were a little unsure what to expect,” OPS Marketing Director Kevin Varney said. “Now that we have a better idea, we have made plans and adjustments to make the night even bigger and better!”

Expanded Partnership Opportunities for 2027

Oxford Plains Speedway is offering several partnership packages for businesses and community organizations looking to be part of this special event. New for 2027 is the VIP All Access package, which provides an exclusive behind-the-scenes experience.

VIP All Access partners will receive access to the pit area, where guests can see drivers and crews preparing their cars for competition. Partners will also receive 100 tickets to distribute, event signage, social media announcements, and additional promotional opportunities.

The popular Diamond package will also return, offering partners 150 grandstand tickets, a pit sign, three sponsored laps in the 250, and much more.  The Gold package includes 100 grandstand tickets for partners, their name featured on the tickets, and a shared advertisement in the Oxford 250 souvenir program.

“After last year’s event with nearly 40 partners, we knew right away we would do it again in 2027,” OPS President Tom Mayberry said. “We continue to work on this event to make it a fun time for drivers, fans, partners, and staff.”

Building on a Successful Inaugural Event

Last year’s Fan Appreciation Night featured a variety of giveaways, the popular T-shirt cannon, a fan meet-and-greet with drivers in the pit area, a 125-lap Super Late Model feature, and much more. With the 2026 event setting a high bar, Oxford Plains Speedway staff are already busy making plans to deliver an even bigger celebration in 2027.

With something for everyone — from die-hard racing enthusiasts to families looking for a memorable night out — Fan Appreciation Night at Oxford Plains Speedway is shaping up to be one of the must-attend events of the 2027 racing season.

Fans, businesses, and community partners are encouraged to watch for additional announcements as plans for the June 19 celebration continue to take shape. For full details and information on packages, please reach out to Kevin Varney at opsmarketing50@gmail.com or call 207-577-1836.

Fan Appreciation Night is the second event confirmed for the 2027 season, joining the 54th Oxford 250 on August 22-24. The full 2027 schedule will be announced in the coming weeks.
