Featuring drivers like Austin Beers, Justin Bonsignore, Ron Silk, and Matt Hirschman, the exciting series is known for its aggressive, short-track, grassroots-type racing.

“The 2026 season is shaping up to be one of our biggest yet,” said PASS President Tom Mayberry. “We are excited to give our fans some of the biggest races in the North and beyond.”

The event will also include Oxford Championship Series (OCS) racing for the Mid-Coast Excavation Super Late Models, Dow Excavating Limited Sportsmen, Spaulding Roofing Specialist Street Stocks, Green Lawn Solutions Mad Bombers, and KHM Thunder Stocks. The special Oxford Championship Series event will feature the regular card of seven exciting racing divisions, but there are several added elements to the show.  In addition to more than 3,000 free admission tickets distributed by the fine partners of Oxford Plains Speedway, Fan Appreciation Night plans call for multiple food trucks, several types of giveaways, the T-shirt cannon, a fan meet and greet, special race car displays, food and drink specials, a WOXO live radio broadcast, special kid’s gifts, and the track mascot.

Mayberry went on to explain one of the biggest objectives is to give the partners involved something they can be proud to be a part of without a great deal of cost.  At the same time, the hope is some of these tickets will help expose new fans to some great racing at OPS. Partners chose from three different packages, all of which have at least 100 tickets to give away, to be a part of this historic night.

Free tickets will be issued by mid-May to the following businesses for distribution: 207 Flight School, Russell & Sons Towing & Recovery, Creative Cleanouts by Josh, Spaulding Roofing Specialist, Oxford County Homes, HawkEye Refrigeration, Gary’s Olde Town Tavern, Henry’s Concrete, The BV52 Racing team, Just in Time Recreation, Rejuvenate Canna, Cannibis Haven/Smokers Haven Maine, Community Credit Union, Littlefield Excavation, K&K Property Maintenance, Kennebec Equipment Rental, Clean Cut Painting, and General Dynamics.

Oxford Plains Speedway Announces 2026 OCS Division Sponsors

Oxford, ME — 2/2/2026 — Officials at Oxford Plains Speedway (OPS) announced the track’s division sponsors for the weekly championship series today. All seven classes will feature the same division sponsor as 2025, with Rodney’s Repair shifting to back the Rookie of the Year, Winners Circle, Fastest Lap of the Race, and Hard Charger Awards. Meanwhile, longtime supporter Spencer Group Paving will be the official sponsor of OPS Victory Lane.

Mid-Coast Excavation enters its second year as the primary sponsor for the weekly Super Late Model Series, while Dow Excavating and Spaulding Roofing Specialists return to the limited Sportsman and Street Stocks. KHM Motorsports and Oxford Aroma Joe’s have returned to the Thunder Stocks and the Rookies, Green Lawn Solutions is back for a second year with Mad Bombers, 207 Flight School will once again bring the four-cylinder fury every week with the Runnin’ Rebels.

MID-COAST EXCAVATION SUPER LATE MODELS — Mid-Coast Excavation is a multi-generation, family-owned and operated construction and excavation company that serves the residential and commercial markets in Mid-Coast Maine.  They grew up playing in the dirt, and they still do.  Visit Midcoastexcavation.com or call 207-389-4735 located in Bath, Maine.

The weekly Super Late Model field at Oxford Plains Speedway is still known as one of the toughest in America. Eleven different drivers were winners in weekly action in 2025, with ten in the previous season and another dozen the year before.   After averaging over 21 cars per week last season, 2026 promises much the same. A mix of veterans like Tim Brackett, Calvin Rose Jr, Scott Moore, Mike Rowe, and 2025 champion Scott McDaniel are already on the driver roster.  They will face off against young faces like Kyle Salemi, Colby Benjamin, and Evan Roy for weekly supremacy.  Add in drivers like Ben Tinker, multi-time champion Dave Farrington Jr., 2025 Rookie of the Year Tom Abele Jr., incoming rookie driver Michael Haynes, and former winner Brandon Varney, and it’s easy to see why weekly racing at Oxford is as good as it gets.

DOW EXCAVATING LIMITEDS — Dow Excavating is a locally owned and family-run excavation contractor in Hollis, Maine specializing in septic repairs and replacement. Taking pride in every project they do with prompt and reliable service, free estimates, and competitive rates, make Dow Excavating your first call. Visit DowExcavatingInc.com or call 207-590-3308.

The Limited Sportsman division enters the fifth season of its resurgence at OPS and has produced some of the tightest racing at the speedway. Champion Jon Brill, Jordan Russell, and Kyle Treadwell put on some heated battles in 2025 with drivers like P.J. Merrill, Chris Foster, Kristina Nadeau adding their names to a track-high 13 different winners.

SPAULDING ROOFING STREET STOCKS — Spaulding Roofing is a successful family-owned and locally run business taking pride in customer service and quality craftsmanship. Years of experience allows Spaulding Roofing to feature a very efficient and cost-effective pricing structure that does not sacrifice the quality of work. Call Richard now at 207-333-7682 for a free estimate.

Like 2025, experience and grit make up this year’s class of drivers. Street Stocks are a place for veteran drivers to settle in as their class of choice. Billy Childs Jr. returned to the top in 2025 in a real barnburner with Rick Spaulding and Jordan Russell nipping at his heels.  Eleven different drivers prevailed throughout the season with, in addition to those mentioned already, Jimmy Childs and Brandon Johnson scoring multiple wins.

GREEN LAWN SOLUTIONS MAD BOMBERS — Located in Harrison, Maine, Green Lawn Solutions serves Greater Portland, The Lakes Region, Oxford Hills, and the Western Mountain areas with pride. Steve and his team can handle all insect problems, including mosquitoes, fleas, and ticks or help you maintain your curb appeal with healthy turf grass. Green Lawn Solutions specializes in fertilizer/weed control programs, grub control, aeration/over seeding, organic tick and mosquito control, and even snow plowing.  Please check out their Facebook page, give them a like and contact them for a spring consultation. https://www.facebook.com/greenlawnsolutions

One of the highest consistent car counts at the speedway has been in the Green Lawn Solutions Mad Bombers. Eleven drivers were winners in 2025 with Tyler Connolly, Brandon Caron, and Thomas Brackett landing in the top three in points. Connolly and Brackett are reportedly moving to the PASS MOD series, while another youngster Nick Wilson is moving to Limited Sportsmen.  Drivers like Cole McIntire and Tyler Lerman hope to join the ranks at the front, and veteran Corey Morgan is always a threat anytime the blue 26 pulls into the pit area.  In 2025, drivers like Kenny Hoyt, Dustin Staples, Adam Stearns, and Kyle Richardson challenged weekly in another season of deep fields and fender to fender racing.

KHM THUNDERSTOCKS —The KHM name has long been a fixture at OPS in nearly every aspect of racing from car construction, ownership, driving, crewing and even mentorship of young drivers. From Rebels, Rookies and PASS MODS and everything in between. Contact KHM for any of your fabrication, setup, and car building needs today. 207-740-6759

As always, one of the biggest wild card classes will be the KHM Thunderstocks.  Tucker Haskell and Karson Hewins have already reserved their numbers for 2026 and are sure to be factors every time they roll through the gate.  Ten drivers were victorious in 2025 including Spencer Moore, Tyler Moore, Caleb Morris, and more while Thomas Richards was the champion.

207 FLIGHT SCHOOL RUNNIN REBELS — Have you ever wanted to learn how to fly? Now is your chance. 207 Flight School is based out of Oxford County Airport just out back of the Speedway.  207 Flight School has an extremely low introductory rate of $240 per hour and will provide you with everything you need to fly the plane, including a logbook, radio headset, books, maps. Taking an introduction to flying Discovery Flight is only $100!  For more information, please call 207-931-9279 or see and like the 207 Flight School Facebook page at  https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=61572198309431

The Runnin’ Rebels will return to Oxford Plains Speedway for another year of four-cylinder fun! Cody Childs was the 2025 champion, while his father Conrad tied him for most wins in the class.  Gunner Josselyn was a force with Nate Dubuc and Doug Degroat scoring a pair of wins each.

OXFORD AROMA JOE’S ROOKIES — Located just 3.3 miles north of the speedway at 1578 Main St. in Oxford, the Oxford Aroma Joe's is open from 5:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. seven days a week with convenient drive-through service.  With hand-crafted beverages, delicious breakfast and all-day snack options, Oxford Aroma Joe's invites you to Experience the Difference. Find them on Facebook at www.facebook.com/AromaJoes32.

Oxford Aroma Joe’s Rookies are always a bit of a wild card as we approach the season.  In 2025, champion Tucker Verrill scored six wins with Chanler Myrick nailing down three of his own.  Rylee Young, Destiny Williams, and Jace Pastore also shared the winner’s circle, and Lucas Russell was on the verge of that elusive win.

RODNEYS REPAIR ANCILLARY PROGRAMS — Located at 282 Howes Corner Road in Turner, Rodney's Repair brings over two decades of experience as a full-service preventive maintenance and automotive repair center. Next time your car or light truck needs service, be sure to give Rodney's Repair a call at 207-224-7345 or visit them on Facebook at facebook.com/profile.php?id=100077268327101

RODNEYS REPAIR shifts its backing to the very popular ancillary program sponsorship for 2026.  Each of the seven weekly classes participates in Winner’s Circle, Hard Charger, and Rookie of the Year contest. For the transponder classes, there is also the Fastest Lap of the Race award.  Rodney’s Repair has made it possible for OPS to extend these special awards for the sixth year in a row!

SPENCER GROUP PAVING VICTORY LANE — Founded in 2011, Spencer Group Paving is a family-owned and operated company employing over 20 workers priding themselves in high quality and superior craftsmanship, with on-time schedules and budgets. Spencer Group Paving can take on any job from sidewalks, MDOT roads, and everything in between. Now Hiring for all Positions! The 2026 season is upon us! Maine's biggest speedway is home to seven divisions of high-octane racing, carnage filled motor mayhems, and the sleek Super Late Models of the Pro All Stars Series.  Oxford Plains Speedway plays host to drivers from all over the country at some of short track racing’s biggest events including the 53rd annual Oxford 250, the Celebration of America 300, and the PASS 400 Weekend.
