OPS Announces 2026 Fan Appreciation Night

More than 4,000 Free Tickets and Counting Will Be Available for June 20 Event

Oxford, ME — March 31, 2026 — Officials with Oxford Plains Speedway (OPS) have announced a unique multi-level agreement with over 40 partners to host a Fan Appreciation Night blowout on Saturday, June 20.  Each participant will be awarded at least 100 tickets to distribute as they see fit for family, friends, clients, and the general public.

“Our fans and partners have been the cornerstone to our success over the last dozen years or more,” said OPS President Tom Mayberry.  We wanted to give back to both and couldn’t think of a better way then giving out free tickets.”

The special Oxford Championship Series event will feature the regular card of seven exciting racing divisions, but there are several added elements to the show.  In addition to more than 3,000 free admission tickets distributed by the fine partners of Oxford Plains Speedway, Fan Appreciation Night plans call for multiple food trucks, several types of giveaways, the T-shirt cannon, a fan meet and greet, special race car displays, food and drink specials, a WOXO live radio broadcast, special kid’s gifts, and the track mascot.

All of this will come on top of an amazing night of racing! The Mid-Coast Excavation Super Late Models have a special 100-lap event as part of a full card of Oxford Championship Series action, including the Dow Excavating Limited Sportsmen, Spaulding Roofing Specialist Street Stocks, Green Lawn Solutions Mad Bombers, KHM Thunder Stocks, 207 Flight School Runnin’ Rebels, and Aroma Joe’s Rookies.

“I have been working with my marketing director to make this more then just a regular night at the track,” Mayberry added. “ We want this night to be special.  We want it to be an event that involves the entire surrounding communities.”

Mayberry went on to explain one of the biggest objectives is to give the partners involved something they can be proud to be a part of without a great deal of cost.  At the same time, the hope is some of these tickets will help expose new fans to some great racing at OPS. Partners chose from three different packages, all of which have at least 100 tickets to give away, to be a part of this historic night.

Free tickets will be issued by mid-May to the following businesses for distribution: 207 Flight School, Russell & Sons Towing & Recovery, Creative Cleanouts by Josh, Spaulding Roofing Specialist, Oxford County Homes, HawkEye Refrigeration, Gary’s Olde Town Tavern, Henry’s Concrete, The BV52 Racing team, Just in Time Recreation, Rejuvenate Canna, Cannibis Haven/Smokers Haven Maine, Community Credit Union, Littlefield Excavation, K&K Property Maintenance, Kennebec Equipment Rental, Clean Cut Painting, and General Dynamics.

Also participating are 32 Signs & Designs, USNE Power, Maine Metal Buildings, Maine Recreation, Troy Morse Trucking, Hanscom Plumbing and Heating, Green Lawn Solutions, DT Asphalt, Call of the Wild, DnL Weatherization, Cindy Dan Real Estate, Maine-ly Concrete Pumping, Landshark Performance, Varsity Lettering, and TGP Enterprises.

Additionally, WD Matthews, Lone Mountain Riverfront Campground, Bonang Concrete, Gary Drew Excavation, Dale Shaw Racecars, PBNJ Yardworks, Sabre Yachts, Petit Motorsports, and the Got Matty! 64 Racing Team have signed up and will have free tickets. Finally, WOXO Country 92.7 and 100.7 FM will also be doing free ticket drawings for the two weeks leading up to the event as well as a live broadcast at the track on race day.

PASS and OPS Announce Contingency Sponsors for 2026

Naples, Maine — 3/11/2026 — Officials with the Pro All Stars Series (PASS) and Oxford Plains Speedway (OPS) announced today a multitude of contingency sponsors available to teams throughout the 2026 racing season. Several new sponsors have joined existing contingency partners to provide race teams with even more rewards and incentives for their ongoing support.

Buzze Racing, DRP Performance, Hypercoil Springs, and JMS Ignition are devoting nearly $8,000 in product support to various PASS and OPS divisions throughout the year.   Additionally, QA1 Shocks will support the Kennebec Equipment Rental PASS MODS series along with the Limited Sportsman division, and HMS Motorsport will provide certificates toward safety gear, and Saldana Racing Products will support the New England Supermodified Series (NESS) and PASS MODS.

Returning contingency sponsors include Earnest Performance, which is expanding its involvement and will now support both PASS and the OPS Oxford Championship Series. Bassett Racing Wheels, Allstar Performance, Longacre Racing Products, Kirkey Racing Seats, and Aroma Joe’s are all returning for the 2026 campaign.

“We worked hard this off-season to try and find additional support for drivers in every series and division,” said PASS/OPS Client Services Manager Kevin Varney. “We have some great companies stepping up to help make it easier for teams to compete week in and week out.”

Buzze Racing will be known as the official axle of PASS and Oxford Plains Speedway.  Buzze Racing will supply a $50 product certificate to the sixth-place finisher in every PASS North, PASS National, OPS Super Late Model (SLM), and PASS MODS race.   Additionally, they will award each of the four champions a $100 certificate at the year-end banquet.

DRP Performance will be recognized as the “premier bearing and seal provider of PASS and OPS”, awarding $50 off a $100 purchase to the winner of every PASS SLM race, OPS SLM race, and PASS MOD race.

Hypercoil Springs has pledged nearly $5,000 in support throughout the 2026 season.   At least 16 award certificates will be awarded by random draw throughout the season to any full-time driver on any of the three PASS series (SLM, NESS, PASS MODS) or top four OPS divisions (SLM, Limiteds, Street Stocks, Mad Bombers).  Drivers need to display the Hypercoil Springs contingency sticker to be eligible for the drawings.

JMS Ignition will supply a $50 certificate for every SLM event (PASS North, PASS National, and OPS) throughout the season to a random finisher.  Additionally, each of the three SLM champions will receive a new JMS ignition box at the season-ending banquet.

QA1 Shocks is now the official shock of the PASS MODS Series and the Limited Sportsmen at OPS. It will provide a $50 gift card to the third-highest finishing full-time driver (i.e. 100%er) at each race.  QA1 will also provide a full set of four shocks via random draw at the year-end banquet for each division. Any full-time competitor in the PASS MODS and Limited Sportsmen will be eligible for the draws.

HMS Motorsport, best known for selling safety gear such as racing suits and gloves, has pledged to give away at least ten $50 gift certificates to full-time participants in any of the three PASS series or OPS divisions.

Saldana Racing Products will support the NESS and PASS MODS series with two $50 product certificates for each race.  The certificates will go to the fourth- and eighth-place finishers.

Earnest Performance returns to the PASS SLM in 2026 and adds the weekly SLM series at OPS.  The eighth-place finisher in each race will receive a $50 gift certificate.

Bassett Racing Wheels will once again have various wheel awards dispersed throughout the PASS SLM, PASS MODS, and top four OPS divisions.

Allstar Performance has pledged to give away at least 15 $50 gift certificates to any full-time driver on any of the three PASS series or OPS divisions.

Longacre Products has pledged to give away at least 25 gift certificates to full-time drivers on any of the three PASS series or OPS divisions.

Kirkey Racing will award four drivers a $250 product certificate at various times throughout the season.  Eligible drivers are full-time competitors in the OPS Street Stocks, Mad Bombers, Rebels, and Thunderstocks.

Aroma Joe’s once again is serving as the entitlement sponsor of the OCS Rookie class at OPS. As part of its partnership, Aroma Joe’s will award the top three finishers of each race a pair of drink cards to be redeemed at the Oxford location.
